Baramulla, Sep 18: A 26-year-old youth lost his life in a fatal road accident in the Tapper Pattan area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Monday afternoon.
According to a police official, the deceased was riding a scooty with registration number JK05H 6515 when a high-speed bus collided with him on the national highway in Tapper, resulting in severe injuries.
The locals took the injured scooty rider to a nearby trauma hospital in Pattan where doctors declared him brought dead.
The victim was identified as Faizan Nabi Wani, 26, son of Gh Nabi Wani, hailing from Nehalpora Pattan.
The police initiated an official investigation into the matter, with further details and circumstances surrounding the accident currently under examination.
