Srinagar, Oct 30: People’s Conference (PC) chairman Sajad Gani Lone on Wednesday welcomed the decision to revert the academic session for students up to class 9 back to end-of-year examinations in November, calling it a correction of a previous wrong decision.
Taking to the microblogging site X, Lone said, “Good that a wrong decision has been reversed. Welcome reverting the academic session up to class 9 back to end-of-year exams in November. This should be extended to classes 10, 11, and 12, where it matters most.”
Sajad said that while this adjustment is positive, it is essential for the change to be applied to higher classes, particularly for students in classes 10, 11, and 12, where the academic schedule significantly impacts students’ preparation and performance.
