World IVF Day celebrated in Srinagar

Gaudium IVF launches state-of-the-art facility

Srinagar, July 27: In a significant development for reproductive healthcare in Jammu & Kashmir, Gaudium IVF has inaugurated the region’s first state-of-the-art IVF facility. The new center, located at MA Plaza, IG Road, Hyderpora, was launched in celebration of World IVF Day, marking a major milestone in addressing the increasing demand for advanced fertility treatments in the Valley.

Dr. Mrs. Manika Khanna, renowned as the “Mother of Miracles,” has been a pivotal figure in advancing fertility treatments in India. Over the past two years, Gaudium IVF’s Srinagar centre has successfully facilitated over 1,000 pregnancies through assisted reproductive technologies, transforming lives and setting new benchmarks in reproductive medicine.

The inauguration ceremony was graced by prominent figures, including Dr. Mushtaq Ahmed Rather, Director of Health Services Kashmir, who has significantly contributed to enhancing healthcare services in the region. Other notable attendees included actor and social advocate Mohammed Iqbal Khan, Srinagar’s Chief Medical Officer Dr. Tahir Sajad, and Gaudium IVF’s Vice Chairperson Dr. Peeyush Khanna.

Dr. Manika Khanna shared her vision for the new center, stating, “Our Srinagar facility stands as a beacon of hope for couples seeking fertility solutions. We are committed to offering the highest standards of care and advanced treatments to help families realize their dreams. This centre is a testament to our dedication to excellence and our commitment to making world-class fertility treatments accessible to all.”

Beyond providing cutting-edge fertility treatments, the new facility aims to create employment opportunities, especially for women. As a woman-led and women-empowering organization, Gaudium IVF is dedicated to fostering professional growth and development for women in the healthcare sector.

Equipped with the latest technology and staffed by experienced professionals, the new facility promises comprehensive and compassionate care for every patient, marking a significant advancement in reproductive healthcare in the region.
