Srinagar, June 05: On the occasion of World Environment Day, the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Srinagar, under the guidance of Chairman Jawad Ahmad on Monday organized a Door-to-Door campaign to spread awareness about the importance of environmental conservation.
The initiative witnessed active participation of para-legal volunteers, law students, defence counsels of LADC office Srinagar and dedicated penal lawyers, and citizens all united in their commitment to promote environmental consciousness.

A Legal awareness programme and plantation drive was also organised at the office of DLSA Srinagar in which staff members as well as Pro Bono Law students and PLVs Deputed at the district court complex Srinagar participated.
With meticulous planning and unwavering dedication, the volunteers and lawyers meticulously charted out their routes to visit various neighborhoods across Srinagar. Armed with knowledge about environmental laws and an unyielding desire to make a difference, they engaged in meaningful conversations with residents to spread awareness about the importance of environmental conservation.
