To commemorate World AIDS Day, Red Ribbon Club GDC Marh, in collaboration with J & K AIDS Control Society and under the aegis of Higher Education Department, organised a three day awareness programme on the college campus.
Principal of the college Prof Dr. Rakesh Kumar Koul was the chief guest.
In his address, while quoting shloka ‘AngamGalitam Asha Pindam Na Galitam’, the Principal emphasised on the need of satisfaction under all circumstances and simple habits to have a successful and blissful life which our mother nature supports and anything which we do against nature has serious repercussions like AIDS. He also highlighted the ill effects and stigma associated with this deadly disease.
