Srinagar, May 5: Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Conference president Sajad Gani Lone on Tuesday held a series of workers’ meetings in the Trehgam constituency, stressing the party’s focus on grassroots outreach and organisational strengthening.
Accompanied by chief spokesperson Bashir Ahmad Dar, Lone addressed gatherings in Gugloosa, Kunanposhpora and Kralpora, interacting with party workers and discussing organisational issues as well as local concerns.
Addressing the meetings, Lone said the party derives its strength from its workers and their connection with the people. He emphasised that the voices and aspirations of local communities would remain central to the party’s agenda.
"Our power does not emanate from offices or positions of privilege but it is rooted, entirely and unapologetically, in the trust that the people place in us at the grassroots. Every worker gathered here today is not merely a member of this party but they are its true face, its conscience and its beating heart," he said.
He went on to reaffirm JKPC's unshakeable commitment to ensuring that the concerns of ordinary citizens are never sidelined or silenced.
"We will leave no voice behind, not one. The people of Trehgam have waited long enough to be heard and I say this with complete resolve that we will carry their concerns, their struggles and their aspirations forward with unwavering force and absolute conviction. That is not a promise made for this gathering but it is the founding principle of everything we stand for," he added.
Bashir Ahmad Dar also addressed the gatherings, urging cadres to stay actively engaged with people and strengthen outreach efforts at the grassroots level.
The meetings witnessed active participation from local workers, reflecting growing organisational activity in the constituency.
