Srinagar, Jan 24: To address the health and hygiene needs of women in the remote areas of Kupwara in north Kashmir, Kashmir Servers Foundation, in collaboration with New Reign Wellness Solutions conducted a comprehensive Health and Hygiene program at Naabadzab Baderher Rajwar.
The initiative aimed to educate women on various aspects of health, including physical, mental, emotional, sexual, and intimate well-being.
Refat Wani Chairperson Kashmir servers foundation, sharing insights about the program with Rising Kashmir, highlighted the particular emphasis placed on intimate health and hygiene.
She said the focus was on preventing potentially life-threatening diseases that may arise from neglecting personal hygiene.
The response from the local ladies and their families in the village was overwhelming, underscoring the significance of such initiatives in underserved areas.
A crucial component of the program involved educating women on the proper use and disposal of sanitary pads.
Real Reign Wellness Solutions provided support, enabling the distribution of sanitary pads among the women present. This practical approach not only promotes personal hygiene but also addresses a vital aspect of women’s health.
The CEO and Chairperson of Kashmir Servers Foundation expressed heartfelt gratitude to the local communities, Founder of NRL Rufaidah ji, members of the foundation, other volunteers, and The Law Mavens for their support. Their collective efforts played a pivotal role in the success of the program.
