A 40-year old woman was electrocuted to death in Chaar-e-Shareef area in central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Thursday, officials said.
They identified the woman as Shakeela Banoo wife of Ab Rashid Baba resident of Hafroo Batpora, saying she received electric shock at her residence.
“The family members took her in a semi-unconscious state to PHC Hafroo Batpora where doctors on duty declared her dead.,” officials said.
Police have taken cognizance of the incident and initiated investigations.(KNS)
