Woman electrocuted to death in Bandipora village

A 35 year old Woman on Monday afternoon electrocuted to death in Kema Village of North Kashmir’s Bandipora District. 

Relatives of the deceased told Rising Kashmir that a woman identified as Jozy Begum met an untimely demise due to a fatal electric shock.

They said that the incident occurred when she inadvertently came into contact with a live wire at her residence, resulting in grave injuries.

She was immediately rushed to District hospital Bandipora. However, despite the diligent efforts of the medical team, her injuries proved fatal, and she was deceased dead upon arrival, they said. 

A Health Official said that they have carried out the necessary legal formalities and handed over the mortal remains to the family for last rites.
