Ghazipur, Sept 28: In a momentous ceremony today, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha unveiled the statue of Tetara Devi at Mata Tetara Devi Sachidanand Girls Degree College in Ghazipur.
Addressing the gathering, the Lt Governor commended the College for its unwavering commitment to setting high standards in girls’ education within the region. He acknowledged the college’s significant contribution to the transformation and development of students’ lives.
Highlighting the remarkable progress made by India in various sectors over the past nine years, the Lt Governor noted the country’s rapid growth in education, economic prosperity, and infrastructure development. He emphasized that development has become the central theme of today’s political discourse.
He stated, “Winds of change are sweeping through the rural economy of our nation. Under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the dream of India becoming a global superpower has been realized. A new work culture and a pro-growth mindset have taken root in our society.”
The Lt Governor expressed that the transformative changes witnessed in the last nine years are inspiring every citizen to contribute to the realization of the vision of a developed India, or ‘Viksit Bharat.’
