Will make J&K women self-dependent: BJP leader Vanathi Srinivasan

Kathua, Dec 11: National President BJP Mahila Morcha Vanathi Srinivasan on Sunday said she will meet the Union Home and Cooperative Minister Amit Shah and apprise him about the way forward to empower the women folk of Jammu and Kashmir to make them “self-dependent”. She also assured of making the Central-government’s schemes accessible to women of the union territory.
Vanathi Srinivasan was addressing as the chief guest at a Women’s Convocation organised by Jammu Women Credit Cooperative Limited. Around one thousand women cooperative members were present in this conference which was organized by Chief Advisor Kailash Verma, who honoured the chief guest with a shawl.
Speaking on the occasion, National President BJP Mahila Morcha assured the women present on the occasion that all their problems will be solved very soon. The program was organized by branch Kathua in which women from 40 groups participated. Updesh Andotra presented as the provincial coordinator. Kathua Branch Incharge Neeru Sambyal  Recovery Officer Manju Verma, Pooja Devi, Palak Rani, Rajni Vandral, Jyoti Devi, Alka Rani were organizing committee members.
State Board of Directors of Jammu Women Credit Cooperative Limited, all the delegates, and some branch incharge Seema Chib incharge-Poorkhu Branch, Sudarshan Devi (Renu) incharge- Randhwal Branch, Anita Bhau, Jyoti Sharma and other branch members sisters participated in this convention.
