Kathua, Feb 18: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit Jammu & Kashmir on February 20, where he will inaugurate several mega development projects and address a massive public rally at MAM Stadium in Kathua, which is expected to be the largest-ever gathering addressed by PM Modi in J&K, said former minister Rajiv Jasrotia on Sunday.
Jasrotia, during a press conference in Kathua, announced that the rally, organized by the BJP, is scheduled to begin at 11:00. He said PM Modi will lay foundation stones for numerous new projects aimed at boosting development in the region.
He expressed confidence in the enthusiastic participation of the people of Jammu & Kashmir, stating, “This time too, lakhs of people from across J&K will come to listen to their popular leader.” He emphasized PM Modi’s role in driving peace and prosperity in the region, noting the significant infrastructure development witnessed under his leadership, including railways, roads, highways, medical colleges, AIIMS, and higher education institutes.
Calling on all residents of Jammu & Kashmir to join the rally, Rajiv highlighted PM Modi’s commitment to placing J&K on the “development map” and ensuring justice for all communities. “PM Modi has led the all-round development inJ&K, which is the reason that whole of J&K residents including Dogras, Kashmiris, WPRs, PoJK, Valmikis, Gujjar-Bakerwals, Pahadi, women, OBCs and other communities got their due rights,” Jasrotia said, adding, “Modi government has ensured justice to everyone.”
