Jammu, July 10: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Jammu on Monday accused the ruling BJP of admitting the scammers and fraudsters in the party.
“Modi in his open speech in Bhopal, MP, on 27 June 2023, thumped his own chest and gave a guarantee to the country that will soon take action against the corrupt persons but to the astonishment of one and all, he inducted 9 cabinet ministers in Maharashtra government by breaking NCP including Ajit Pawar against whom ED & CBI have registered cases in 70,000 crores most infamous irrigation scam,” the AAP said in a statement.
It added, “Chhagan Bhujbal, Dhananjay Mudey, Hassan Mushrif, etc are those against whom several cases are underway. Now, the BJP has openly declared that all the corrupt should come to its fold and get cleaned off their sins in its washing machine.”
“On one hand, the BJP is arresting political opponents on fake corruption charges while they themselves are on an MLA purchasing spree. Hard-earned public money is being misused to quench BJP’s thirst for power,” the AAP alleged, adding, “The BJP and Prime Minister Modi cannot talk about fighting corruption now; the tainted leaders under the scanner of ED & CBI for corruption have been put into ‘washing machine’ and BJP’s detergent washing powder cleans all spots in seconds.”
The party said the “washing powder” failed to take effect in the case of Manish Sisodia, Satyender Jain, and AAP Councilors in MCD and also in the Council of Ministers and MLAs in Delhi and Punjab governments.
“The BJP-led government has been completely exposed because of white lies, corruption, unemployment, unprecedented price rise of LPG, diesel, petrol, fertilizers, edible oil, pulses, hike in transport charges, etc and that people are fed up with them and badly see an alternative in AAP because of magical pro-poor, pro- workers, laborers and pro-people policies of AAP launched in Delhi & Punjab,” the party said.
