Western Digital India launches ITB ‘Mobile Ki Pen’ drive in Kashmir

Srinagar, Mar 06: Western Digital India launched ITB ‘Mobile Ki Pendrive’ during an event in Srinagar on Wednesday.
 
Senior Director, Western Digital India, Khalid Wani said that Kashmir has a huge potential for content creators and stated that there is a need to explore the region’s rich resources and opportunities, pointing towards a promising landscape for creative endeavors.
Regarding the launching of ‘Mobile Ki Pendrive’, Wani said that the product is designed to satisfy consumers’ needs for storage both at home and on the go.
“Smartphones have transformed almost every individual into a content creator. Yet, as our appetite for creation and consumption grows, so does the need for seamless storage solutions. At Western Digital, we are dedicated to empowering users with reliable, easy-to-use, and lightning-fast storage solutions,” he said.
He said these refreshed pen drives allow users to take and store even more photos and access them across their different USB Type-C and Type-A devices (including Smartphone, tablets, and computers) without slowing down.
Wani said that it is faster than before and has simple-to-use storage now with up to 400MB/s [128GB-1TB models] transfer speeds. It is dual-purpose swivel design helps to protect the connectors while on the go.
About the product, he said that it has a bigger capacity, and the all-metal, 2-in-1 flash drive for USB Type-C™ and Type-A devices comes with up to 1TB* storage capacity. It is simple-to-use storage now with up to 400MB/s transfer speeds (128GB—1TB models).
Wani said that Western Digital is on a mission to unlock the potential of data by harnessing the possibility of using it.
