Week long Activities held at GCOE to celebrate National Youth Day

Red Ribbon Club along with IIC and NSS Government College of Education (GCOE) organised a one week activity on National Youth Day 2024 being observed from 12 January to 19 January 2024 under the theme “It’s all in the Mind”.

As many as 80 college students participated in all the events with great Zeal and enthusiasm under the patronage of Dr. S.P. Saraswat. Convener Red Ribbon Club and IIC, Prof. Sunanda Rani stressed upon the relevance of the Day.

She clarified the student’s doubts on various myths and facts related to HIV. Various events were organised which included Awareness Rally, Live telecast of Honourable Prime Minister Narendra Modi Ji’s speech, Slogan Writing, Rangoli, Poster making on HIV/AIDS and Symposium.

The events were adjudged by officiating Principal of the college Prof. Satish Sharma and senior faculty members Prof. Seema Kotwal, Dr. Rajinder Kour and Dr. Anuradha Choudhary, Dr. Davider Kour and Prof. Roopa Kumari The Entire events were organised and executed by the Convenor Prof. Sunanda Rani Red Ribbon Club along with Dr. Shubhra Jamwal, Prof. Sarita Dogra(NSS PO), Prof. Kiran Thapa and Dr. Sonam Gandotra.
