Jammu, Oct 28: On the Observance of 147 Birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel a webinar was organized by the NSS Units of the Govt SPMR College of Commerce Jammu on the topic Unity and Diversity.
The programme began with the welcome address given by Prof Rajni Bala NSS Programme officer. Chief Guest of the occasion De Surinder Kumar, Principal Of the college graced the occasion with valuable words, he wished everyone many congratulations and hope that you celebrate this day with your head held high and feel honored to be a citizen of this nation. Guest of Honor Prof Ekta Gupta principal Govs college of Education spoken about National Service Scheme, she said that we should always be ready to contribute for the society. Resource person of the webinar was Prof Shapia Shameem Assistant Professor of Education, Govt college of Education Jammu she talked in about in detail the contributions of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. She gave a wonderful lecture through presentations, she also reminded as in her speech how much efforts Sardar Patel put in to bring the different states of our country together.
She said that Sardar Patel for all the work he did in integrating India and must promise ourselves that we will continue to work hard to keep our country together in this webinar around 50 students participated along with faculty members from diffrents colleges as well. Prof Shubhra Jamwal NSS PO of Govt college of education appreciated the efforts of the ass units, Prof Seems, was also present along with other faculty members.
The whole proceeding of the event was conducted by Prof Rajni Bala and Prof. Aphan Ali, Prof Apfan Ali also presented formal vote of thanks. The event was conducted through gogle meet.
