Warm farewell accorded to outgoing SSP Bandipora

Bandipora, Jan 08: The district administration Bandipora organised a warm farewell party here for the outgoing SSP Mohd Zaid, JKPS, upon his transfer. 
Deputy Commissioner, Dr. Owais Ahmed, District Nodal Officer Coordination Mohd Ashraf Hakak, ASP Bandipora Ashiq Hussain Tak, Commanding Officer 14 RR, Joint Director planning Imtiyaz Ahmad, Head KGHEP other senior officers from civil and police administration, BSF CRPF and other concerned were present at the event held at Cultural Hall, Kishen Ganga Hydro Electric Project (KGHEP) Bandipora.
Speaking on the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner highlighted the achievements of SSP Mohd Zaid and extended best wishes for his future endeavours. He appreciated the efforts of the SSP during his tenure at Bandipora in curbing the drug menace and maintaining peace in the district.
“Mohd Zaid as police head always extended his support to the district administration in eliminating social evils from the society and always worked shoulder to shoulder with the civil administration,” the DC said. 
All the officers present at the function extended their best wishes to the SSP for his new assignment.
SSP Mohd Zaid shared his valuable experience and thanked the district administration for organising an “impressive” farewell. He thanked the officers for their active support and cooperation during his tenure; and lauded the efforts of the district administration and the leadership skills of Dr Owais Ahmed.
At the conclusion of the event, felicitation gifts were presented to SSP Mohd Zaid from the district administration and KGHEP as a token of love.
