Srinagar, Apr 8: The Vice Chairperson, District Development Council (DDC) Shopian, Irfan Manhas Sunday held a meeting of DDC members at the Mini Secretariat to discuss the overall development scenario of the district.
At the outset, DDC Vice Chairperson apprised the Council regarding the formulation of the plans under the District Capex budget 2023-24. The council discussed ongoing developmental works and reviewed the financial and physical progress achieved to date.
Council members shared their concerns related to operational work and challenges faced during the monitoring and implementation process.
A threadbare discussion was held regarding issues concerning the Council and their resolution. It was unanimously declared that the council is supreme and all the efforts would be made by the council and members to mitigate the suffering of people and also the overall development of the district in all sectors.
