Jammu, June 14: The venue for the rally of Union Home Minister Amit Shah has been finalised for the 23rd of this month at Bhagwati Nagar here after thorough meetings by security agencies.

Amit Shah will visit Jammu on June 23 and will address a mega rally at Bhagwati Nagar. He will highlight the achievements of the nine years of the Modi government.

“The security agencies have given clearance for Amit Shah’s rally at Bhagwati Nagar Jammu on 23rd of this month,” J&K UT BJP President, Ravinder Raina told Rising Kashmir.

Raina said the party had proposed a few venues for Shah’s rally at Jammu and Bhagwati Nagar has been selected as the venue for his rally. The visit of the Home Minister and his rally at Jammu has been strategically planned by the BJP on June 23, the day coinciding with the ‘Balidan Divas’ of the party’s ideologue Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee.

The rally is part of BJP’s Maha Jan Sampark Abhiyan to highlight the achievements of the Modi Government in the last nine years since 2014.

Raina said that mega-public rallies are being organized at each parliamentary constituency. In the Jammu parliamentary constituency, the BJP has asked its workers and leaders to mobilise the people to make the rally a grand success.
