VC BGSBU reviews progress of key infrastructure projects

Rajouri, Dec 30: Prof. Jawaid Iqbal, Vice Chancellor, Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University (BGSBU), Rajouri, on Tuesday visited the ongoing construction sites of the Main Gate, Indoor Stadium, and the Girls’ Hostel for Nursing Students to review the progress and quality of works being executed.

According to a statement issued here during the visit, the Vice Chancellor inspected the facilities and interacted with the concerned officials, emphasizing timely completion of the projects while ensuring strict adherence to prescribed quality standards. He observed that the creation of modern and student-friendly infrastructure is vital for fostering a safe, inclusive, and conducive academic environment.

Prof. Jawaid Iqbal highly appreciated the proactive support and instrumental role of Abhishek Sharma, IAS, Deputy Commissioner, Rajouri, for his continued cooperation in facilitating the University’s developmental initiatives. The Vice Chancellor also lauded the Police Administration, Rajouri, for their effective coordination and steadfast support in ensuring the smooth and secure execution of these major infrastructure projects.
