Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra is going on across the country, the Utter Pradesh Govt is on toes to ensure its reachout to the corner person of the state.
Additional Chief Secretary of Utter Pradesh Devesh Chaturvedi told Rising Kashmir that 604 campaign vehicles are running in the rural areas of the state under the Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra and till now programs have been organized in more than 39 thousand gram panchayats.
He said that So far, more than 2 crore 70 lakh people have participated in these programs and camps organized in UP.
ACS said that till now Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra programs have been organized at 1166 places in urban areas in which on an average 1500 people are participating, taking the total number to more than 16 lakh.
Till now 24 lakh Ayushman cards have been made in Uttar Pradesh through the camps organized during the programs of Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra, ACS said adding that the number of beneficiaries availing the benefits of multiple schemes in one family has increased through the programs of Vikas Bharat Yatra.
He said that today crores of families in the country are able to fulfill all the basic needs required for a respectable living through various government agencies.
ACS further said that more than 1 lakh 74 thousand new beneficiaries joined the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana in the camps conducted during the Sankalp Yatra in the state. Ayushman cards were distributed to more than 28 lakh 5 thousand beneficiaries, he added.
He said till now 2 lakh 47 thousand individuals have registered their achievements in ‘Meri Kahani, Meri zubani’ out of the total 43 lakh 41 thousand beneficiaries.
ACS said the provision of pure tap water to every household under “Jal Jeevan Mission” and a reduction in diseases due to this is tangible outcome of the scheme.
As this Correspondent visited Tikait Rai Talab, Shitla Devi Ward of Rajajipuram area of Lucknow, the VBSY activities were in full swing with people participating in large numbers to have benefits of centrally sponsored schemes.
Neeraj yadav, a farmer from Lucknow in Uttar Pradesh told Rising Kashmir that they are getting the benefits of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana (PM-KISAN) and described the “PMKISAN” scheme as very beneficial and good scheme for farmers.
The Central Government is making tireless efforts to connect farmers with technology through the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, he added.
