Various political, trade delegations call on HM Amit Shah

Srinagar, Oct 04: Various local political and trade bodies’ delegations met Home Minister Amit Shah on Tuesday here at Raj Bhawan, who arrived in Valley on Tuesday evening.
Fruit growers, tourism association, and some prominent social activists discussed the prevailing issues related to Srinagar- Jammu National Highway, tourism and several other issues related to Kashmir region.
Union Home Minister also met with the representatives of Chamber of Commerce, Transporters, Hotels and other organizations at Raj Bhawan Srinagar.
Apni Party delegation headed by Altaf Bukhari reached the Raj Bhawan and discussed several issues with the Home Minister.
Later, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, LG Manoj Sinha and MoS Jitendra Singh met the family members of soldiers who lost their lives in the line of duty.
Family members of four policemen were also given the job appointment letters.
In a tweet, HM Amit Shah said, “Honored by meeting the families of the soldiers of @JmuKmrPolice who were martyred while fighting terrorists in Kashmir.
“Along with this, appointment letters of jobs were also given to the families of 4 martyrs,” he said.
Shah added that entire nation salutes the sacrifice and sacrifice of the Jammu and Kashmir Police, which has been at the forefront of India’s fight against terrorism.
