Union Joint Secretary Ministry for Development of North Eastern Region (DONER), Angshuman Dey, designated District Prabhari Officer for Anantnag, today visited the district and reviewed the ongoing “Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra” preparations.
Deputy Commissioner, S F Hamid, briefed the Prabhari Officer about the district plan for the upcoming ‘Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra. The plan included formation of transport and route schedule, appointment of nodal person and training of the stakeholders about various facets of the Sankalp Yatra.
Union Joint Secretary interacted with the district officers and other stakeholders involved in the Yatra and had detailed assessment of the arrangements.
The threadbare discussions focused on evaluating the impact of the initiative on various aspects such as infrastructure development, community engagement, and overall socio-economic upliftment.
