Srinagar, Aug 06: Swim N Survive Society Kashmir concluded 2 days Underwater Sports Championship on Sunday. During the 2 days, Swim N Survive Society organised around 10 events including 50M Fun Race U-8 (Boys), 50M Fun Race (Girls), 50M Open Water (Girls), 100M Open Water and Fun Race U-12 & U-16 (Boys), 200M Open Event, 100M for Veteran etc in which around 100 swimmers took part.
Valedictory function with Adventure enthusiast and noted Swimming Expert Riyaz Ahmad Wani was also attended by Moonis Majid Wani (Prevelant Pharmacy), Dr. Sheikh Tariq, Shakeel Ahmad Shah, Yasir Makhdoomi, Zahid Iqbal, Mudasir Jeelani Chasti, Sheikh Rashid Fayaz, Muneeb Shafat, Mohsin Fayaz.
Speaking on the occasion, Riyaz Ahmad Wani congratulates all the winners and runner up and appreciated the efforts of Swimming experts of Swim and Survive Society Kashmir for providing training in the wee hours of the morning despite their busy schedules”.
Zahoor Ahmad Sheikh and Zulaikha Anjum were declared disciplined swimmers.
The society presented vote of thanks to Department of Tourism, Swimming Experts, Parents, and Sponsors for their support. The event was sponsored by Prevalent Pharmacy, organized by Swim N Survival Society Kashmir and was supported by Underwater Sports Association of J&K.
