Srinagar, Aug 05: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Media Incharge Manzoor Bhat on Saturday said that the National Conference and People’s Democratic Party have “always done politics on the blood of Kashmiri youth”.
Speaking at a public programme in Channpora Srinagar organised to celebrate the anniversary of the abrogation of Article 370; Bhat said that August 05, 2019, has brought peace, development and prosperity to J&K.
BJP District President Srinagar Ashok Bhat was the Chief Guest on the occasion which was graced by a large number of people, the party said in a statement.
Manzoor Bhat added, “When the National Conference was in the government, it used to say that 110 Kashmiri people were killed in ours and when PDP was in government, they used to proudly say that only 70 Kashmiri people were killed in our government. The NC and PDP always count these figures in the name of development.”
Under Article 370, Kashmiri youth were tortured for the last 40 years, their rights were murdered and today thousands of our youth are taking part in entrepreneurship, have set up their own business, earning their own employment and giving employment to others as well, the BJP Media Incharge said.
“This change has come after the abrogation of Article 370 and today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is known as the messiah of the poor across Jammu and Kashmir due to welfare works he has done for the poor people,” Bhat said, adding, “Modi schemes have transformed the lives of the poorest of the poor and have helped raise their standard of living to a level of dignity.”
