Udhampur: Private Negotiation Committee discusses Land acquisition rates

Deputy Commissioner Udhampur, Saloni Rai today chaired a crucial meeting of the Private Negotiations Committee (PNC) for projects to finalize land acquisition rates including those undertaken by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI). 

The meeting took place in the Mini Conference Hall, DC Office Complex, Udhampur.

Additional Deputy Commissioner, Joginder Singh Jasrotia, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Umesh Shan, all SDMs, Project Director NHAI, and representatives from NHAI attended the meeting.

The meeting involved a meticulous review of land acquisition cases, resulting in the approval of compensation for 9 cases. Additionally, rates for land compensation were finalized for several projects proposed across the district, marking a significant step towards facilitating development initiatives.
