Two persons were on Tuesday injured in a mysterious explosion at Kandi area of Kupwara in north Kashmir while the investigation has been taken up to enquire into the matter.
An official told that the incident occurred at Gujjerpati Kandi area, which left two women wounded.
The injured women have been identified as Nahida Akther and Afroza Begum, both residents of Chek Keegam.
One of the injured suffered a wound to her right leg, while the other sustained a severe foot injury, who were later referred to Srinagar’s JVC hospital for specialized treatment, he said.
