Bandipora Police along with 26 AR & CRPF have arrested two militants of ( TRF) LeT along with arms and ammunition, Police said on Friday.
A police spokesman said on a specific information, two militants were apprehended while they were on the move from the upper reaches of Bandipora towards Srinagar.
They have been indentified as Imad Amin Chopan @ chita bhai S/o Mohd Amin Chopan R/o Paden Salar Anantnag & Tahir Ah Bhat @ Tiger S/o Ab Hamid Bhat R/o Hergam Adigam Kokernag Anantnag.
“One Chinese Pistol along with magazine & rounds, Chinese Grenade & detonators have been recovered from their possession,” he said.
As per police, they were tasked by their handlers to aquire arms & ammunition to revive the module of TRF in South Kashmir.
“A case to this effect has been registered and investigation is on,” the spokesman said.
