Police on Thursday seized 02 Tippers and arrested two persons for illegal excavation and transportation of minerals in Central Kashmir’s Budgam district.
A Police Spokesperson said that during naka checking at Sebdan Crossing, police party of Police Station Budgam intercepted 02 trippers who were carrying illegally excavated minerals. Accordingly, 02 tippers were seized and 02 persons arrested on spot.
“The arrested persons have been identified as Ghulam Mohammad Mir S/o Ghulam Mohi-ud-din Mir R/O Qadipora, Muzamil Bilal S/o Bilal Ahmad Wani R/o Nasrullapora.Registration number of Seized tippers are JK01K-8363 and JK01AL-6214”, he said.
The spokesperson said that case FIR numbers 41/2023 & 42/2023 under relevant sections of law stands registered against the accused at Police station Budgam and investigation taken up.
