Jammu and Kashmir Police on Friday said to have arrested two accused involved in kidnapping and sexually assaulting two minor girls in Lalbazar area of Central Kashmir’s Srinagar district.
In a tweet, Srinagar Police wrote, “2 accused Hilal Rather(24) S/o Gh Mohd Rather R/o Haygam, Sopore & Shabir Mir (30) S/o Gh Mohd Mir R/o Kreeri Baramulla arrested for kidnapping & sexually assaulting 2 minor girls of 12 & 13 yrs, who were rescued. FIR No 41/2023 U/s 363, 376 IPC & 3/4 POCSO Act at Lal bazaar PS.”
