Trials for 6th Indoor National Rowing Championship held at Pokhribal Water Sports Club

Srinagar, 23 July: The J&K Association of Rowing & Sculling successfully conducted the trials for the 6th Indoor National Rowing Championship at Pokhribal, Srinagar. The event saw enthusiastic participation from 30 water sports athletes, showcasing their exceptional skill and determination.
Following a rigorous selection process, outstanding athletes were chosen to represent the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir in the prestigious 6th Indoor National Rowing Championship. 
This national event would be organized by the Maharashtra Rowing Association on behalf of the Rowing Federation of India and is scheduled to take place from August 10 to 14, 2023.
Dr Burhan Bazaz, the President of J&K Association of Rowing & Sculling commended the participants for their dedication and hard work, emphasising that their selection is a testament to their exceptional abilities and potential. He expressed his confidence that the chosen athletes would bring pride and laurels to Jammu and Kashmir, showcasing the region’s talent on a national platform.
 
The J&K Association of Rowing & Sculling is proud of the athlete’s achievements and extends its best wishes to the selected participants for the forthcoming 6th Indoor National Rowing Championship. Their dedication and passion for the sport are a source of inspiration for aspiring athletes in the region.
 
The association also expresses its gratitude to the Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha, for his unwavering support and encouragement in promoting sports and fostering a culture of excellence in Jammu and Kashmir.
