In a harrowing roadside accident on Zojila, two lives were tragically lost today. According to reliable sources, the incident occurred when a truck, bearing the registration number 7837/JK02AH, was en route from Kargil to Srinagar. At the treacherous location of Zojila, the vehicle spiraled out of control, veering off the road and creating a deep trench near Mandir Morh, which led to the immediate loss of two lives.
Sources have confirmed that more detailed information is awaited as they coordinate efforts with the police, State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) Gund Component, Sonamarg Police and the army for a rescue operation to recover the victims’ bodies.
