Tragic road accidents in Ganderbal leave one dead, four injured

Ganderbal, June 21: In a tragic series of road accidents on Friday, one person lost his life while four others sustained injuries in separate incidents across the Ganderbal district.
An official reported that a collision occurred at Margund Kangan between two tippers. A tipper, bearing registration number JK05C/3133 and driven by Bashir Ahmad Rah, collided with another tipper, registration number JK04H/8607, driven by Ab Hamid Ganie. Both drivers, residents of NowgamSgr and Barsoo GBL respectively, sustained minor injuries. Although both vehicles were damaged, there were no major injuries reported.
In another incident at Kijpora Kangan, a person sustained injuries and was initially treated at SDH Kangan before being transferred to SKIMS Soura for further medical care. The identity of the injured person has not been disclosed.
A more severe accident occurred near the maternity hospital in Watlar, Ganderbal, when a Pulsar bike with registration number JK05M-4769 skidded off the road and fell into an irrigation canal. This accident resulted in injuries to two individuals and the disappearance of another.
A swift rescue operation involving local police, the SDRF, the Army, and local residents led to the discovery of the missing youth’s body early this morning. The deceased has been identified as 25-year-old Aadil Manzoor Shah, son of Manzoor Shah from Nilla Palpora, Pattan, Baramulla.
The injured, identified as 20-year-old Mufasil Reshi, son of Mohd Asadullah Reshi, and 22-year-old Nasir Nabi Bhat, son of Gh Nabi Bhat, both from Nilla Palpora, Pattan, were initially taken to PHC Lar and later shifted to SKIMS Soura for further ”
