Baramulla, July 07: In a devastating incident, a 22-year-old youth was found dead at his residence in the Bremen Rafiabad area of North Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Friday, with suspicions of electrocution.
According to a police official, Sahil Ahmad Khan, the son of Nawab Khan, allegedly suffered a fatal electric shock on Friday, resulting in his untimely demise.
Upon receiving the distressing news, the young man was immediately rushed to the emergency room (ER) at GMC Baramulla by concerned individuals. However, a healthcare official at the hospital revealed that the 22-year-old male from Bremen Rohama was pronounced dead upon arrival.
“The alleged cause of death was electrocution, which subsequently led to cardiovascular arrest,” stated the healthcare official, emphasizing the potential connection between the electric shock and the tragic outcome.
Police officials confirmed that all necessary legal formalities regarding the incident have been duly completed. Medical Superintendent of AHGMC Baramulla further informed that an ambulance from SDH Rohama has been dispatched to transport the deceased’s body to his native village, facilitating the grieving process for his grieving family.
