Traffic on the strategic Jammu-Srinagar national highway was resumed on Monday after remaining closed for vehicular movement for a couple of hours.
A J&K Traffic Police official said, “Traffic restored on Jammu-Srinagar NHW at Dalwas. Commuters are advised to follow lane discipline and not to overtake.”
For the past several days, the snowfall across the Kashmir Valley has been adversely affecting normal life, resulting in the cancellation of all flights at Srinagar airport on Sunday.
