Jammu, Mar 09: Apni Party Provincial President of Women Wing in Jammu, Pavneet Kour criticized the traditional political parties for neglecting the minority communities in the last seven decades.
As per a press release, a meeting was organized by the Apni Party leaders at ward number 1 in Sumbal in Jammu’s South Constituency.
Speaking on the occasion, Pavneet Kour met the people to discuss developmental issues, representation of minorities and other related issues.
Kour said the minorities were ignored by the traditional political parties with hollow promises which remained unfulfilled even after decades of governance by these parties. “These parties exploited the people especially the minorities, denying them their due political representation,” she said, while assuring all support to the minorities, and to the people of Jammu who feel betrayed during all these decades.
She affirmed that the Apni Party is committed to providing equal opportunity to all the people and will fight for their rights.
The meeting was also attended by Provincial President Minority Wing, Balbir Singh, Inderpal Singh, Vice President Transport Wing, Davinder Singh, Ashwani Kumar and others.
