Shopian, Jan 04: The sudden demise of Bashir Ahmad Dar, a well-known tractor driver in Shopian, has left the community in shock as he was found dead under mysterious circumstances near his tractor late Thursday morning. Bashir was known for his hard work and was a familiar figure in the village.
While some initial speculations point to the possibility of cardiac arrest, official details surrounding the cause of death remain uncertain. The police have initiated an investigation into the matter and assured that further information will be shared as the investigation progresses.
“We are deeply saddened by the loss of Mr Dar,” a police spokesperson said, adding, “Our primary focus is to determine the cause of death with utmost sensitivity and accuracy. While early indications suggest a potential medical event, we are conducting a thorough investigation to uncover the facts.”
The spokesperson urged the people to cooperate with the investigation and refrain from engaging in speculation until official details are released.
The villagers of Heff Shirmal have requested swift action in the investigation to provide answers to the grieving family and the community. While respecting the ongoing investigation, many expressed their hope for a prompt and comprehensive conclusion to the case.
“Bashir was always a helpful and kind soul,” said an emotional neighbour, adding, “He would never hesitate to lend a hand to anyone in need. This sudden loss is a huge blow to our community.”
