Tourism deptt organises Ice-skating camp

Gulmarg, Jan 27: Ice-skating Camp was Organised by the Deptt. Of Tourism (Kashmir) in Collaboration with Ice-skating Association of UT.
 30 participant’s including Boys and girls from kupwara, Bandipora, Baramulla and  Srinagar was the part of the Ice Camp.The camp Started from 17 thjan. 2023 to 26th of Jan. 2023.
Ashraf Dijoo General Secretary /National Coach Ice-skating Association of UT J&k, imparted the training for Ice-skating Camp and given training for Speed Skating and Figure skating Starting from 9:30 am daily upto 7pm evening, with I hr. Lunch Break.
 All the Skaters were given latest techniques of Speed Skating, Figure Skating, pair Skating, Synchronised Skating and at Evening Thrilling Ice Roll  Ball was part of the program in order to gain Stamina, Balance and Speed to the Skaters . 
Dijoothanks  the Tourism Department for taking Such an adventure Sports in the famous Gulmarg Ski resort and hope Such type of adventure and recreational Sports may be  Start in Sonamarg and Phalgam tourist resorts for the development of the Tourism. 
During the Ice Skating Camp Selection for 3rd khelo India winter Games 2023 was also Completed at the vanue.
