Samba Aug 14: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) J&K’s Senior Vice President Surjeet Singh Slathia on Wednesday said the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi two years ago has become an expression of patriotism and a symbol of our pledge to make India a great and developed nation by 2047.
Addressing a Tringa rally in Samba, Slathia urged the youth to cultivate a sense of patriotism and set goals in their lives to achieve great heights. He said Jammu and Kashmir has undergone a huge transformation in the wake of progressive initiatives taken during these years under the leadership of Narendra Modi.
Slathia referred to the cherished agenda of Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas’ and said the BJP is working towards realising this vision by ending discrimination and ensuring holistic development of all the regions and sub-regions of Jammu and Kashmir, irrespective of caste, creed and religion.
“BJP’s focus has been to usher Jammu and Kashmir to a new phase of progress and development with the restoration of complete normalcy and peace remaining a focal point,” he said, adding that the party is committed to addressing the issues of the youth, the marginalised and weaker sections besides women.
BJP has been ensuring to remove the disparity between regions and sub-regions with regard to the allocation of funds for development and opportunities to flourish, he added.
Slathia said the BJP is a mass movement, standing for the empowerment of the people and support from all sections of society. “This is the biggest strength that enables the party to fight for the just cause of the people and stand steadfast in resolving issues confronting them. As a result of sustained efforts, the BJP has emerged as a force to reckon with,” he added.
Ankush Jamwal, President BJP Yuva Morcha Samba also addressed the Tringa Rally and thanked the participants for their great enthusiasm. The rally was also addressed by Mandal Presidents of the party.
