Inspector General of Police (IGP) Kashmir V K Birdhi on Friday said they have cracked a TRC grenade attack and three terror associates involved were arrested and booked under UAPA, police said.
Addressing a press conference at PCR Srinagar, Inspector General of Police (IGP) Kashmir said that they have cracked down TRC grenade attack and have arrested 3 persons in the case.
Police identified the accused personas as Usama Yasin Sheikh, Umar Fayaz Shiekh and Afnan Ahmed, all residents of Ikhrajpora, Srinagar. They have been booked under UAPA and a case against them have been lodged in police station Kothibagh. It was carried on the directions of Pakistan based handlers,” IGP Kashmir addded.
Last week, a grenade was lobbed at TRC that left 12 civilians including a woman and man seriously wounded.
