Anantnag, July 12: An unfortunate incident occurred on Wednesday in Anantnag’s Bijbehara, where a teenage girl lost her life and three individuals’ sustained injuries after the car they were traveling in crashed into a tree.
The officials stated that the car bearing registration number JK02CS 3742 collided with a tree near GDC Bijbehara, causing injuries to all four occupants.
The injured individuals were immediately taken to SDH Bijbehara, where Anayat Jan (18) from Nai Basti Anantnag, was declared dead upon arrival.
The injured persons have been identified as Burhan Ahmad (18), son of Ajaz Ahmad Wani , resident of Frisal, Abrar Ahmad Wani (19), son of Nissar Ahmad , resident of Nai Basti, and Suman whose parentage is Hilal Ahmad Shah resident of Khanabal Anantnag.
A police official, confirming the incident, informed that they have taken cognizance of the matter.
