An 18-year-old boy was found dead under mysterious circumstances in Daksum area of Kokernag in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Wednesday.
As per local reports that Mohsin had left home around 12:30pm , but was found dead.
Meanwhile locals informed concerned police station Larno about the incident who rushed to the spot immediately.
SHO Larnoo told Rising Kashmir that a boy identified as Mohsin Ahmad Deka (18) son of Mushtaq Ahmad Daka of Dessu Daksim was found dead mysteriously in Daksum near Herbal garden.
Later, the body was taken away by police for medical and legal formalities.
“He was shifted to SDH Kokarnag for postmortem to ascertained the cause of death,” SHO said.
He said that It was not immediately clear the cause of his death.
Police have registered case and started further course of investigation in this regard.
The body was later handed over to his family for last rites.
