Scores of protestors on Tuesday staged a massive protests in Indra Nagar area of central Kashmir’s Srinagar, against killing of Hindu School teacher in Kulgam.
The protesters were demanding relocation and stated that LG adminstration has failed to provide security to the minority employees.
Sunil Kumar, a local employee told Rising Kashmir that it is unfortunate that a female teacher was again killed by the enemies of Kashmir.
“Such killings are unacceptable and we urged LG Manoj Sinha to look into this sensitive matter,” he said.
Earlier on Tuesday morning a school teacher was shot dead by suspected militants in Gopalpora area of Kulgam.
The slain was indentified as Rajni Bala, 36, a resident of Jammu’s Samba area sustained multiple gunshot injuries and succumbed to her injuries after being taken to a local hospital.
The firing occurred outside a high school in the Gopalpora area of Kulgam, where she was posted as a teacher.
