Tarigami congratulates Mian Altaf, Aga Ruhullah, Er Rashid

Srinagar, June 04: The Communist Party of India (Marxist) leader Mohamad Yousuf Tarigami has congratulated Mian Altaf Ahmad Larvi, Aga Syed Ruhullah Mehdi and Engineer Abdul Rashid for getting elected to the highest and most prestigious institution of the country – the Parliament of India.
“Hope they will steadfastly represent the people of Kashmir and raise their voices in defence of the legitimate rights and aspirations of the people,” Tarigami said in a statement issued here۔
The CPI(M) leader said the government should take immediate steps to ensure the release of detained Er Rashid who heads the Awami Itihad Party (AIP). Mian Altaf and Aga Ruhullah belong to the National Conference.
