Srinagar, 01 June: The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference Chief Spokesperson and MLA Zadibal, Tanvir Sadiq Monday paid obeisance at the revered shrine of Hazrat Khawaja Habibullah Nowshehri Hubbi (RA) in Nowshahr and reviewed the arrangements being put in place for the annual Urs, which will be observed on Friday later this week.

During the visit, Sadiq was accompanied by senior officers from various departments, including Srinagar Municipal Corporation (SMC), Roads and Buildings (R&B), Public Health Engineering (PHE), Urban Environmental Engineering Department (UEED), City Drainage, Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs (FCS&CA), and the Health Department.

Taking stock of the preparations, Sadiq directed all concerned departments, shrine management authorities, and Waqf officials to work in close coordination to ensure seamless arrangements for the devotees expected to participate in the Urs observance.

He stressed the importance of maintaining cleanliness, ensuring uninterrupted water and power supply, proper sanitation, adequate healthcare facilities, traffic management, and availability of essential commodities during the religious occasion.
