SWD organises awareness campaign under BBBP at Ramgarh

Samba, July 26: Social Welfare Department Samba in collaboration with SANKALP:HEW, Mission Shakti on Friday organised a mass awareness campaign under BETI BACHAO BETI PADHAO” at Govt. Hr. Sec. School, Ramgarh.
The campaign was graced by DDC Chairperson, Keshav Dutt Sharma as the Chief Guest, alongside Guest of Honour Deputy Director Social Welfare Department, Shifali Sharma and Assistant Director Social welfare Department, Pallavi Sharma, District Social Welfare Officer, Nawaz Sharif.
Other guest present in the program were Tehsildar, Ramgarh, BMO, CHO, Principal Mrs. Nidhi Verma, Ms. Neha Sharma and Ms. Kiran Bala Sr. Lecturer Dr. Ruchi Thakur, District Mission Coordinator, Mansi Abrol, Ritika Banotra Gender Specialist SANKALP:Hub for Empowerment of women, faculty of government school, official staff of social welfare department, official from special cell for women, students of the school.
The programme featured a rich array of activities, including inspiring speeches, engaging skit, poetry recitation, Dogri dance, singing songs and nukkad natak. At the end, felicitation and distribution of educational kits, school bags, mementos to meritorious students of Govt. Higher Secondary School, Ramgarh. The main aim of this programme was spread awareness regarding Beti Bachao Beti Padhao.
