Budgam, Jan 11: District Nodal Officer SVEEP in collaboration with District Election Office Budgam on Wednesday organised an awareness programme with an aim to create momentum and enhance the pace of enrollment of new voters in the voter list and to inculcate democratic values in the general public of the district.
The awareness program was attended by the general public, PRI members, Anganwadi Workers and Asha Workers.
During the awareness programme, District Level Master Trainers (senior lecturer) Mir Firdous Ahmad and Gowhar Rasool (teacher) delivered the lecture regarding importance of electoral registration and participation and shared the detailed schedule of the Revision timelines and important ways and means for the enrolment.
The detailed description of the different prescribed forms viz. 2A, 2B, 2C and 2D were also shared with the participants through demonstration. The same forms were also circulated among the participants.
SVEEP Nodal Officer, Mushtaq Ahmed Qadri and Deputy Election Officer Budgam, Shakeel Ahmad emphasized that no voter shall be left out during the ongoing registration process.
