The Jammu and Kashmir Police on Sunday said that that information was received regarding two suspicious vehicles carrying uniformed men along with civilians, sighted on the Ring Road near Kangrail Gharota, moving towards Udhampur.
A police spokesman said upon swift investigation, both vehicles were identified and confirmed to be transporting Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) personnel along with their luggage. The vehicles were traveling from Samba towards Udhampur via the Ring Road.
“Authorities verified the identities of the occupants and ensured that the vehicles were part of a routine movement of CAPF personnel. The situation was resolved without incident, reaffirming the vigilance and prompt response of the local security forces,” he added.
