Baramulla, Sep 30: At least eight persons, including a minor, were injured after a stray dog attacked them in Uri town of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Saturday.
A health official in Baramulla said that a stray dog attacked and injured eight persons including a minor in Uri. He said immediate medical attention was provided to the injured at SDH Uri where they received initial treatment and were administered Anti-Rabies Vaccination (ARV).
Following the initial care, three patients were subsequently referred to GMC Baramulla for further medical assistance.
Medical Superintendent AH GMC Baramulla Dr Parvez Masoodi said three individuals with dog bites were admitted at Associated Hospital GMC Baramulla.
“All are in stable condition and under observation in the Casualty and Emergency section,” he said.
Dr Parvez said doctors are closely monitoring the situation to ensure the well-being of the injured persons.
