Srinagar, July 05: Apni Party President Altaf Bukhari on Friday reviewed the preparedness of the party in the Jammu region ahead of the proposed assembly elections in the union territory.
According to a party statement issued here, Bukhari chaired an important provincial-level meeting here which was attended by State General Secretary, Vijay Bakaya, Provincial President, Jammu, S. Manjit Singh, and other senior leadership from across the region, all district presidents, and frontal heads.
In the meeting, a review of the Apni Party’s performance in the recently concluded Lok Sabha elections of 2024 was also taken. The party leaders shared assembly-wise details with Bukhari and informed him about their working and public contact program in the Jammu region.
Altaf Bukhari directed the party leaders to speed up the public outreach programmes and inform people about the equitable developmental policy and welfare programmes of the Apni Party which would be implemented if the party formed the government in Jammu and Kashmir.
He reviewed the party’s preparedness ahead of the proposed assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir and directed the leaders to hold continuous meetings with the people in every nook and corner of the region.
The party leaders were also asked to hold regular review meetings and gear up the election campaign. Bukhari directed the leaders to fight for all the sections of society, particularly the economically weaker section.
